There are snooker tables all over North Carolina. In most cases, there will be a line at the pool tables and the snooker table will have just a couple folks around it. Sometimes they are playing while they wait for the snooker table to be free.

Now this "sport" strikes me a little like baseball, in that we have a world championship but, afaik, only one contestant was from outside the British Isles, and that was Honk Kong, an ex-Brit colony.
