No way. I only look for women with easy to pronounce surnames. ;) See why I'm not married?

The first 'o' is pronounced as the 'u' in 'cup', and at the end, the 'ow' is as in 'throw'. So it's sort of like puh-poe with the accent on the last syllable. Of course, this is nothing like how it would be normally pronounced had it not been changed from Popov. At least this way, my mother gets to just use Popow. Otherwise she would have been Popova.
