I know for a fact that the movers involved with the other forums dealing with VFP have a high disregard for the UT and will willing steer people away from joining if they know about it.Are you saying that this is a hidden motivation for Naomi's bannings- that she strayed into some sort of territorial dispute by posting a reference to UT?
Is this why you've added UT to your attack repertoire- are points being awarded by the "movers" for attacking the UT and its members? ;-)
FWIW, I'm not disagreeing with you here. Some years back I commented favorably about UT and was told by one of the VFP "movers" that UT was frowned upon because it isn't free, a comment that I found strange bearing in mind that we'd all participated in Compuserve when it was far from free, but I did not pursue the issue. If you are correct that "movers" are openly steering people away from UT and/or punishing people for referring to it, we do need to know that.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
