Can't be responsible for those before you. My grand(repeat a few times)father was a mason, and he built the village church. At least he had a bit of rebellion in doing that - the regional clerical government disagreed, said the village is too small to have its own church etc, probably some of the priests didn't want to split the parish (and the loot proceeds) with a competitor.
