I am using a writing a Excel report through VB6 where I do not know what will be the MAX Value of Progress Bar .

How to handle this situation so that user knowns that something is going on in the PC.

Note: It is not necessary that Progress Bar has to be used any other suggestion is welcome . It should be informative .
