Oh nevermind. I figured it out.

Apparently when you edit a fiend through a bound control, it leaves the DataRow in question in "Edit" mode. So by running my CommitProposedChanges() method on my table, it forced any row with "Proposed" changes to EndEdit(), which it turn then updates the RowState accordingly.
