Hey Perry.

It is working fine. I don't recommend dual booting for the exact reason your describe (OS's stomp on each other) but we had no choice in this case. I find that Windows 2000 (especially server) doesn't like muliple boot and will overwrite your MBR. Having multiple removable hard drives is far safer.

With XP, did you try marking the VPN icon so that the app is run in Win2000 compatibility mode. I've managed to get a few apps working this way.

>Have you done it, so you know it works? I bought my old desktop 5 yrs ago with XP. I needed to have 2000 so I could VPN into work. I ended up trashing my system trying to get 2000 installed second.

We wanted to have Vista on the laptop to experiment with but need to use the laptop in our corporate environment which requires XP. If XP is installed 2nd, it doesn't ask you if you want to set up a dual boot, so here is how to do that.
