Tracy,

Bravo. I agree that we all want this to die down and a certain poster has asked me not to mention her name, so I won't...

But as you mention, this is about the VFP community as well, including its mentors, leaders and ordinary members. IMHO the VFP community is something worth preserving and supporting. Who does it benefit if a Community that used to be the envy of other allegiances (cue lmao from the usual quarter) pulls itself apart with petty infighting?

IMHO people need to stop for a moment and look in the mirror. Is there a VFP Community? If so, what is our contribution to it, both positive and negative?

FWIW, I've also received a private e-mail accusing me of wrongdoing because my UT envelope turned yellow last night. Yes, I signed up for PUTM... because I looked in the mirror and felt it was the least I could do under the circumstances. Should have done it a lot earlier, but if promptings to action are one outcome of this whole sorry episode, then at least some good has come of it.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
