The comment referred to cultural and not racial superiority. They are very different. Comparing the things the "Western culture" (WC) finds wrong with "Fundamentalist Islamic culture" (FIC) and the things FIC finds wrong with WC my opinion is that WC is superior.

I will grant that this is a matter of perspective and mine is that of WC.
