Here that is not the case, but mostly because they will charge based on the demand and each location has their own tax they add to it. In Greensboro right now it is about 2.96 a gallon but in Sanford it is 2.86 a gallon. In Fayetteville it is between the two. Someone once told me it had more to do with the cost of transporting the fuel but that is obviously NOT true.
