Our company is private but we are paid based on deliverables and what is expected of us. We have timelines to follow, and if for example, we finished the project before the due date then, we are free to surf the NET provided that it is related to I.T. It may sound like I am siding with Naomi but we really don't have any idea what is expected of her by her bosses. Who knows if it might be part of her job to be active in I.T. forums and help other taxpayers with their I.T. problems? It think as long as she delivers the goods on time to her bosses, then their will be no big issues about her being active participants in I.T. forums. Good for the U.S. gov because there is Naomi spending time surfing the NET related to I.T. because you might be surprised if numerous public employees are surfing the NET for nothing i.e. gambling, sex related sites...
