I have taken a basic course in C#, and it seems that doing things in VFP is much easier. Of course, this is due - at least in part - to my ignorance of C#.NET, but data access did seem much more complicated in C#.
On the other hand, I have never done any Web application with VFP, and it is quite possible that .NET outshines VFP in this area - but I really don't know.
