Not sure if this answers your question, but we run Fox DOS 2.6, Fox Windows 2.6 and from VFP 6 to VFP 9 on XP without problems. I even recompiled (and it is working) a fairly complex 2.6 Windows application with VFP 9 with minor changes (2 or 3 lines of code at the beginining)
