That would be an easy task with only a few twists - but I had a scenario once where my optimaztion speeded up things on PIII / Athlon / Athlon 64 architecture but another form of coding would translate into more speed gains in the back then prevalent netburst designs (PIV and "those" Celerons). But I never really was a fan of the netburst architecture - there is just one in my zoo sitting there mainly for testing business - so netburst got a small boost and the others a larger one...
