Can't speak for Ghost but, with the nightmare I encountered on trying to upgrade from NAV04 to NAV07, I wouldn't touch a Norton product with a stick I'd used to prod dog-doos with. If installation fails it's really hard to wade through their so-called online support, and find a category to complain by, or get to converse with a human (if you can find them!). I pity non-comp-literate people having to deal with them if they encounter problems.

You may recall that NAV7 wouldn't install until I'd, manually mind, rid my PC of any mention of the old NAV. I did all I could, including scouring the registry, and it still wasn't satisfied. This left me with no AV protection at all.

Any suggestions are opinions on Norton? I seemed to remember having a conversation with Tracy about this awhile back, but couldn't find it.
