Folks like Coulter make the "game" nasty. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me (other than their being wrong, of course <vbg>), but her way of doing it is so unabashedly nasty. She's actually a perfect example of hating the players, not the game.

FWIW, I receive a daily paper that runs a full range of op-ed columnists from Phyllis Schlafly and Cal Thomas on the right to (before her death) Molly Ivins on the left. I read almost all of them almost every day because it keeps me informed. But Coulter's just not worth my time and energy (not that my paper gets her).
