It could be worse I guess...think gothic black.

>Ahhh the pink phase! Been there, done that. I actually had a deep burgandy red room and it was quite a chore painting it and then repainting it afterwards. I am very happy with her recent choice of sky blue. :o) The things we do for our kids!

>>PFMJI, but I have to correct your typo...your "fuscia" should be "fuchsia". The ridiculous reason I know this is that there is an ingrained memory from a Johnny Carson show years ago when Walter Matthau had explained to Johnny that fuchsia is spelled "F - U - C", (followed by a pregnant pause), "H-S-I-A". I can't remember what I had for breakfast, but I remember this.

>>Geeze, after typing that out, I just realized a perfectly good name for a future offspring for Calvin Hsia.
>>
>>By the way, your talk of paint is timely, I just spent the last couple of nights painting my 1 daughter's room "country pink" (she's 8). This was not long after the other 8 year old daughter got red on her 4 walls. NOTE: avoid painting walls red! (multiple coats needed).

>>>That sounds familiar :o) My daughter just got tired of her fuscia and orange room and now would like a sky blue one... She wants 'beach colors.' :o)

>>>>>There are more variances of white paint than any other since we have no paint with an absence of all color. I took my daughter to Sherwin Williams to buy white ceiling paint and she thought there was one white - imagine her surprise! :o)
>>>>>
>>>>>I prefer deep golds, dark greens, and burgandys for colors to live in. My daughter is a teen and into the bright BRIGHT colors :o)
>>>>
>>>>Burgundy (or maybe mahagony... or mahogany here) was an option for a while, and then we decided we don't want the rooms to be the same color as the car :).
>>>>
>>>>As for the girls' rooms, one is sky blue, and the other is thick orange (actually used a cap from an orange juice bottle as a sample), including the ceilings. When the sun sets into the orange room, from the hall it looks like there's fire inside.
