Let me make it clear then: I am not interested because I am using the solutions that work for me for years:

- if it is the user interface, then word dialog or flashing window is not allowed; in this case, use word automation to open the document, do not show it, send it to printer, wait for end of printing, and then close the document;

- if it is stand-alone application, like a scheduled task, then it does not matter that flashing window appears for a moment, and one can use the simple shellexec call instead of word automation.
