Man, that's a miracle!

And all these years I've been manually making changes to the ControlSource proeprties for each column to move eveything over. I changed, like you said, the Column.ColumnOrder property for the new column to 1 and Voila!, it moved itself to the first position. Wow! Cool!

It doesn't get much better than this!!!
