>>>History has also shown that Businesses would rather offshore and use cheaper foreign labor than yield to economic extortion by Unions. There has to be a better way.

>You can't judge other countries by American Standards. I've lived all over the world and the mores and cultures are different. In many countries, children are supposed to work, it's the norm. In many countries, the woman do the work, in others the males. When in Rome...

You cannot impose your will or morals upon another country. However, I would tend to not want to live in a country where men, women and children are used as live bombs. I do have a long list of such things I would prefer to not be a part of.

This reminds me of a time about 1500 years ago in Ireland. You could not travel from one area to another with any certainty that you would not be killed. There were two classes of persons that were allowed to travel unharmed, lawyers and minstrels Later, tinkers (they sold pots and pans) were added to the list.

If you step off of an airplane to visit another country you are subject to the laws of that country. If they want to shoot or arrest you they will. You are at their mercy.

In Vietnam I did not like to see 5 year olds who carried anything. You never knew when mom and dad decided it would be a good idea to make a bomb out of their child.

We can hope that some degree of civilization will be in effect throughout all the countries of the world that will at least allow dignity, safety and security for its members. That does not mean that it will happen. The people have to make that decision for themselves.

Even the morality and acceptability of social norms differ throughout our country. I notice that we have changed during the last 45 years and people tend to think more and more alike. But still we have differences in what is acceptable and what is not.
