in the UK we have had a lot of immigration from the ex Eastern Block countries recently . And as a result the Catholic Church is undergoing a renaissance. Standing room only on a Sunday.

While back then he said very hateful things against the Catholic Church (up til the mid 70s I think), today he almost always supports it.
