>We are having problems since some time ago with some users getting an "Access Denied" error while accessing a COM+ application we use system-wide, we think that it might be related to PC Anywhere, for we have this problem only with computers that actually have PC-Anywhere (PC-A) installed, or that had it installed and then removed, so the only solution for a computer that had PC-A but does not need it anymore is to just wipe it up and install XP from scratch, that solves the problem nicely, but... unfortunately some users still need to use PC-A. I read somewhere that PC-A changes the ACL, and this prevents the use of remote COM, so, does anyone know of a solution to this problem, assuming that we are right about PC-A being the culprit?

>Summarazing: One XP SP 2 computer hosts a COM+ "Server" and all the clients, also all XP SP 2, have a COM+ "Proxy" application installed, most computers have no problem with the setup (around 150+), only a few get the Access Denied error and AFAIK all the ones that failed have or had PC-A, that is why we blame it. By the way, is not user related, if the same user getting an error in a computer logs into a different one, there is no problem accessing the COM+ object.
