The immigration from Poland has been truly exceptional. I don't think any of the other countries come close in numbers. You see evidence it everywhere. My local supermarket has a new Polish food section. Some councils have put up signs in Polish in some areas.
Its interesting how a lot of the corner shops which years ago would have been run by an Indian or Pakistani family are now run by groups of Eastern Europeans. I guess the Asians have made their dough and moved on.
