We have roundabouts here and more are added every year. Don't you have the rule that the driver on the right has the rightaway (which keeps traffic moving into the roundabout)? Here, that is generally not the case. The person merging INTO traffic from the right must yield so there is often congestion on roudabouts because people not accustomed to them stop and wait for a clear opening. Also, since the driver already on the roudabout doesn't have to yield, they just keep going and often do not make room for someone attempting to pull in.

Here are some mini ones:

Here are our rules (note that circulating vehicles have the right of way):

>>>No way. Either you get stuck in traffic, or they have those damn inner city tolls.

>>And they have those wicked roundabouts too where Nicholas lives.

>BTW, what's wicked about them? I was thinking of mentioning roundabouts, and whether you guys have caught on to the advantages of them yet. I sometimes marvel at what a good idea they are, and how they keep the traffic moving, instead of those interminable start-stop-start-stop cross-roads with traffic lights that you seem happy to endure.
