>I do not know what value to give a DATETIME field in MSACCESS; I am sending data through ODBC from a FoxPro table to a REMOTE VIEW which is really a means to access an ACCESS table. The problem arrives when there is an empty DATE value in the FoxPro table, which value is unacceptable to the DATETIME field in ACCESS; the MS ACCESS field will accept a DATE and give it the typical 12:00:00 AM thing after the date.

Can you just add a record with a blank date from Access, then see through your ODBC connection how does it look VFP side? Then just give it the same value when sending data to it.
