Marcia, you are a very smart person and I know that if you knew about this problem in ACCESS, you'd have told me right away. No doubt about it.

Have you done any Visual FoxPro weekend classes out here at LA Fox recently?

Now, I remember why I never programmed using ACCESS and VB back in those old days when FoxPro was the KING of databasing.

Anyway, back to the DATETIME field in ACCESS, I ended up using Dragan's recommendation to put in 01/01/1900. Anyone seeing that data would know it's bogus, only used as a filler.
