I suspect you will have to fake it...maybe using a group containing 3 display fields with no boarders, and your hyphens. Then each field could have it's own font controls....you could set it up so when the user ends the group it appears to select all the data, and if there is data entry, you would clear the content of all 3 controls.

Maybe someone else has a better idea...
