Hi Karl;
If you have not already done so, check out the ControlSource property (should be the field name in the table you want to show the value of and have changed automatically) and the BoundColumn (which is the column of the row source array you are using which should replace the field value). Hope I have not misunderstood your question and that this helps.

I want the inital value of the combo box to be the underlying value of the field behind the box. I then want the user to have a pre-determined set of choices to change the value to. I am having problems displaying the value of the field in the combo box initially and I also want the choice of the user to be saved as the new value of the field.
