Dan,
I'm sick to death -- not to mention insulted as all get out -- of being accused of doing nothing. We put the message out. We yelled. We pounded on tables. Where were *you*!?!?!?!?!Why, I was on the other side of the planet, but still I feel sure I must have felt some of the more assertive table-poundings. ;-) I was also at number 14 on the list of over 1000 developers hoping to engage MS on the "Will Microsoft market VFP" wiki pages that I thought I was talking about in my previous post. Go take a look.
I'm done here, not least because I've got a lot of work to do and I must have tinkered with this post fifty times. Enough. ;-)
FWIW, while I don't remember your reaming of MS in a trade rag, I do remember many of your UT posts which were supportive of VFP and perfectly reasonable. That's a good way to be remembered IMHO.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
