Sorry for my confused problem I need to find out the year(age) .
for SQL syntax , select age from myTable group by age . So I will know how many different 'age in the table',

however, myTable buffermode is 5 , Without tableupdate , for vfp6.0 it seems i can't use sql syntax .
Any other syntax can use ?
