The version that UT users are using is not representative of the version that most users use. Heck, if I wasn't on UT I would probably still be using VS.NET 2002.

If there was a release of Visual Basic 7 (not .NET), do you think that most VB6 users would upgrade? I think not unless it was a huge release, because as painful as VB6 is to use now, back then it was a pretty good product.

>Hi, I agree with you, the Last survey done in the UniversalThread http://www.levelextreme.com/VisualFoxPro/Community.asp shows the community using the Most up to date version, and most, planning to upgrade to VFP9.

>>In fairness, I don't think the demise of FoxPro was due to developers failing to upgrade to versions 7, 8, and 9. Those of us who are technology-driven and committed upgraded. Those who are market-driven in many cases did not.
Very fitting: http://xkcd.com/386/
