>Seconded. You made this same recommendation a month or so ago when I was the one seeking advice. I have implemented an email class that is now used in production apps. The users are wildly excited, way beyond what I expected. Now they are thinking up new uses of email capability at a furious pace. Communication is really the core of our business and this makes it easier to do. Thanks again! And thanks to the others who pitched in as well.
You're welcome!
Sometimes I actually come up with something worthwhile!
BLAT really does make sending EMail much easier than other methods I've fought with. You don't have to try to control or fight with an existing EMail client - all you need to know is the address of an EMail server you can send mail through via SMTP.
I use the DLL version. It's interface is a little quirkier than the command-line version but it is easier to package and install with your application.
