As Cathy said, just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen. I've learned over the years that I can be much more effective by not pushing people against the wall. You can be sure that Microsoft has heard me (and plenty of others) over and over about their failure to market the product.

Can you show us the message/s where your efforts on our behalf were described? I don't remember any. How are people supposed to see the light if it's kept under a bushel?

Even if leaders are fatalistic about initiatives like the "open letter" to MS some years back or the current masfox initiative, as leaders it's important to "participate" and explain actions. Many MVPs have done that, but many more are again conspicuous by their absence. Why? Are they ignoring the tiresome rabble, or are they MS poodles reluctant to create a stink, or what is the reason for "leaders" shunning a grass-roots effort? With no explanation provided, people draw their own conclusions.
