I have a connection to a SQL db and it works fine for many apps. However, I'm trying to use it to retrieve a single field which is 255 characters in SQL and I get:

"No update tables are specified. Use the Tables property of the cursor"

The connection is using the defaults. Could it be that the 255 characters is too much for VFP?
