I don't think Haggard worked for Falwell and their situations are different. Haggard, though he may be gay, is continuing to deny it, whereas White realized that he is gay and came out and now fights for gay rights. Personally, I think Haggard is probably still living a lie. He would still denounce homosexuality as an "abomination", which I can't agree with. I read White's "Stranger at the Gate" book a number of years ago. Very good book about the struggles that go on inside someone fighting the way God made them.
