>>I'm curious... Ken Levy told us to buy MSDN rather than VFP. Choosing purely arbitrary numbers... say there were 100,000 VFP sales before Ken gave that advice. Say 50,000 buyers took Ken's advice and another 30,000 bought VFP as usual while another 20,000 migrated or decided to become bakers or whatever. How many VFP sales were there, what was the total revenue from VFP (doesn't MSDN cost a lot more than VFP alone?) and how could *anybody* count sales attributed to VFP? Certainly nobody ever asked me.

So YOU'RE the one who killed VFP <g>.

I remember also being skeptical that VFP sales numbers could be derived from MSDN sales. Ken Levy responded that they felt they had a pretty good handle on it. No way to prove or disprove that contention, of course. As I recall he didn't go into much if any detail about the methodology they used.
