In the last scene I kept thinking "Wow, she kind of looks like Kate. Wonder if this means Jack knew somebody like Kate before the island ... and then ( I have to watch it again ) he was making allusions to the Gold Passes "they gave us" and then said something to her about We have to go back ... and suddenly it seems the bearded Jack scenes weren't flashbacks but flash-forwards ...
