Do you have other ideas of handling this problem or some suggestions? I'm not sure I like using spinners.

If you subscribe to FoxPro Advisor, Andy and I had an article in teh March issue on this topic complete with some (if I do say so myself) very cool classes to handle the problem in a user friendly manner:

Working with DateTime Values

Date/Time values are rather cumbersome for users to update but these classes makes it easy

By Andy Kramek and Marcia Akins

Visual FoxPro provides quite reasonable controls for handling dates. However it does not really handle combined Date/Time values well. The DateTime data type is fine, but the only way to enter, or update date time values is with a standard textbox. This is not very easy to manage and so Andy and Marcia are investigating the use of custom classes to make entering and updating time values simpler for their users.
