I hear ya. It is always a fine line. Staying true to the positions you had when people voted for you and also being flexible enough to change as your constituency changes. Bill was the master of this, Hillary not so much.
But maybe it is better that she vascillates now before people vote for her as president, rather than after.
The current president has been steadfast, and unfortunately this has moved him away from popular US opionion on many issues.
But you know all this. :-)
