Hi Aleksey,

From what I remember, VFP is still not supporting transactions across tables contained in multiple databases and that is imho needed just like transactions on tables in single database and (as of lately) free tables.

I use 'forest' of databases (multi company/year setup) interchangeably,
so in my case this missing 'bit' would hv been helpfull. In cases like this,
cross-database updates occur quiet often. I am aware that MTS was offered/advertised for situations like this, but that would increase overal complexity of solution/setup etc
Since transaction on free tables are provided lately, why not
completing this aspect and enabling transactions on VFP tables in multiple databases as well.

However, I cannot complain on VFP databases, and I hv no problemmatic code to post, it all (knock on wood) works perfectly well for me.
I was just kidding a bit, since as we all know there will be no new versions to come up with substantial new functionalities.
Hope You will forgive me for that :)

Thanx & Regards
Srdjan
