>Versus actually has outstanding coverage of the NHL. They've had the best play-by-play announcers and great analysis/commentary. Unlike Fox and NBC's coverage in past (which certainly was 'OK' but tried to "dumb down" the game), Versus is coverage for the serious hockey fan.

>Both teams are highly skilled, and yet very different, so this should be a great Cup final to watch.

But none of you guys remember real hockey. < bg >

When it was a 6 team league we had the best 150 hockey players in the world spread over only 6 teams. After the 2nd expansion, I completely lost interest. I would turn on the tv and see guys, not only playing, but scoring goals, who would not have been able to make it on the farm clubs back when it was 6 teams. What have we got now, 30 teams? Think about what the game would be like if you cut that back to 6 again and only the top 150 players were playing. Now that would be worth watching.
