I was going to.....but then I discovered that I could run IIS7 on Vista Home Premium. So, "so far", I haven't needed to upgrade. I'm sure that when I get some time, I will upgrade....but so far, (knock on wood), everything I needed to do before on XP pro, I'm still able to do.

>>If I remember correctly, you should install IIS before Visual Studio 2005 and possibly SQL Server 2005 Express (if you use it). Check it out to be sure. Visual Studio 2002 and 2003 will not run on Vista. Lots of hardware does not work with Vista.

Nick;

After reading and experiencing the problems I have encountered with Windows Vista, I have attempted to take one step at a time. The final problem I have is with my professional sound cards I use for recording and editing audio. Those issues are serious.

Vista will not run PageMaker, and a number of other programs. You have to do your home work and be willing to take a chance if something says nothing about Vista compatibility, be it hardware of software. You have to have patience and work on one issue at a time. So far that approach has worked for me. :)
