Yeah, tell me about it... I DONT GET IT as to why there are applications that export to the supposed "CSV" format, but yet structure the file like that with embeded commas and CRLF's.

However it begs the question, how is EXCEL able read these "non-standard" format (if that's what they really are) CSV it and be able to separate the columns correctly when Excel opens it.

BTW, I would be glad to send you an example if you want. I'm assuming you've seen it before though. But let me know if you want to see what I'm specifically looking at and I'll shoot it to you, or even a screen shot.

Thanks for the other examples you sent me. They definately look like a good option.

But I'm still wondering if anyone out there has found a way to do it using fopen/Fgets, etc. -Rick
