Hey Tommy,

Thanks for the update. I actually took the time to download the latest ubuntu last week and saw that there is indeed an icon on the desktop to install to the hard disk. I haven't tried it though. I find that ubuntu is WAY SLOWER to boot up from CD than PCLinuxOS and I get the feeling its gonna behave the same way when booting from the hard disk.

As for PCLinuxOS's 3D stuff, if you think you have trouble running on an ATI Radeon, I've got a ancient ATI RagePro. Nothing happens when I try to do the 3D stuff. Its like PCLinuxOS is thinking, "wth is this thing?" then doesn't bother doing anything different. Oh yes, did I mention I'm running this on an overclocked Celeron 300a CPU with 256MB RAM and a 30GB hard disk. Don't laugh, apart from the 3D video (and molasses like OpenGL screen savers) its all good :)
