If we will be using SQL Server, the licenses being paid puts the product selling price not so competitive enough because it has something like hidden cost. With that, we are trying to consider using MySQL. But then I need to know if MM.NET fits and works well with MM.NET?

If you end up using MySql we can send you the MM .NET data access class that works with MySql. That said, have you considered using SQL Server Express--it's Microsoft SQL Server, but it's free!

Yes we did consider SQL Server Express but the problem is the 4GB limit plus the fact that it runs only on Windows Box.
