I've scoured everything I can via Internet options of both browsers but can't find anything that's disabled IE. I've set the checkbox "inform me if IE stops being the default browser" but that hasn't happened, and the "make IE the default browser" button is disabled.

Hi Jim

Thanks

IE tries to access the selcted page (the little circle in the tab keeps circling) then the page has the "Cannot access the selected webpage ..." usual message all over it, with the usual suggestions like "maybe the page is offline, try another webpage, etc.".

Google the same

MTU value??

You say "The new service" but I've had the 2 working fine in tandem since last July.
