>I have install my program (EXE FPD 2.6 DOS) on Novell version 4.0. When I log into the network and when I start my program, it gives an 'Invalid or missing EXE' message. However when I start the same program with the -x startup option, the program runs but at much slower pace.

The 'best' way is to have your EXE on the local drive & the data on the Network Server.

I suggest re-writes to go from 2.x to VFP. Why transfer unless the app takes advantage of VFP features?
