>but if what Andy posted is accurate, the question would be do you condone that? Anyone doing what Andy claimed she did has taken things too far.

>In his screen shot, it clearly shows that IP address 70.23.12.52 belonging to Naoimi Nosonovsky was used to post a message on the MSDN Forum. Eric's logs showed that "Andy" logged in from the very same IP address on May 28th at 11:08:28 PM. Do you really think that Andy is making this up or that Eric's logs are wrong?

Disclaimer: I've counted you and Andy as friends a long time and I don't really know Naomi, but two observations :

I've been hanging around tech forums/bbs's/CIS etc for over 20 years ( remember The Well in SF ? ) and getting banned once, anyplace, is kind of rare. Getting banned a lot in a lot of different places is pretty weird.

And while logging in as a mythical character is kind of sad, logging in as a real person ( and not even understanding you ain't playin' with an amateur <g> ) on a forum where the sysop likes him a whole lot more than he does you is not just creepy but not very bright.

Charles Hankey

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
