Nevermind, I see he solved it.
DELETE FROM payment_tbl WHERE RECNO = 1
Was RECNO in the code a Typo? It should be RECNO()

Also just to be sure, you aren't expecting the record to disapear are you?

To do that you need to PACK the file.
