>>I am testing an app install for a vb developer. Vista keeps telling my that "The installer" doesn't have permission to continue with intallation. I haven't been able to find a way around this one yet. I am the administrator with complete access permission. It's the installer that has the problem. Anyone have a way to get around this one?

That's the first thing I did. It's an MSI and the 'run as administrator' option isn't there. I check my status again and I am the administrator. I did find an area that told me that the MSI was from a different computer than mine. It asked if I wanted to run it and I replied yes, but I still got the same install message. I'm wondering if it isn't something the developer needs to do at his end. I have him looking and I'm still kicking the MSI around too. I hope MS releases Vista SP1 soon. There seems to be quite a bit of nuisance material in VISTA. On the other hand there is some neat stuff too.
I ain't skeert of nuttin eh?
Yikes! What was that?
